    1. One of the most important aspects of this module was learning about how the U.S. pushed its way into foreign film markets, sometimes through some rather unethical methods. After reading the text, the U.S. influence on the foreign films we viewed was very noticeable. The text does make the point, however, that foreign industries have benefited from U.S. involvement. Also, U.S. filmmakers have benefited from the artistic elements in foreign film, enabling them to incorporate these elements into their work.

    2. I find Uniblogs to be more flexible and reliable than most other blogging sites I have used. I also like that it is geared towards college students. Furl is an excellent archiving and research tool, and I have used it in a number of courses, even when it was not required. I have not found much use for Gritwire, at least not yet. Shelley has the student accounts listed on the course home page and I find it easier to access them from there. I have noticed that there are some inactive accounts, so it would be helpful to delete them from the page.

I think that two of the most important points made by the text are to be unique and original and that big named directors had to begin somewhere. I like using uniblogs, I think it makes communicating over the web much easier
